Biotin

Conspiracy to fix the prices of Biotin

Settlement Notice:
Settlements have been reached with some of the defendants in some of the Vitamins class actions across Canada. For more specific information on the settlements please visit our website at www.vitaminsclassaction.com.

This class action concerns the conspiracy among the defendants to fix the price at which biotin (vitamin B8/vitamin H) was sold in Canada from at least early 1991 to late 1995.

Biotin is a water soluble member of the B-complex vitamins group. Biotin forms part of several enzyme systems and is necessary for normal growth and body function. It is essential for cell growth and replication through its role in the manufacture of DNA and RNA, which make up the genetic material of the cell.
