    Yasmin/Yaz

DO YOU USE YASMIN OR YAZ BIRTH CONTROL PILLS?

Please be aware: On March 10, 2010, Siskinds filed a class action lawsuit against Bayer with respect to the use of Yasmin or Yaz in Canada.

Use of Yasmin and Yaz has been associated with an increased risk of developing any one or more of the following:

    • Stroke,
    • Deep vein thrombosis,
    • Pulmonary embolism,
    • Heart attack,
    • Gall bladder disease and/or removal.

The Statement of Claim alleges that Bayer failed to adequately warn patients and physicians of the increased risk of health disease associated with use of Yasmin and or Yaz compared to safer oral contraceptives.

The Ontario Yasmin/Yaz class action is being case managed by the Honourable Justice Crane. The certification hearing has been scheduled for 3 days commencing January 28, 2013.

If you use or have used Yasmin or Yaz and suffer from any of the foregoing health conditions, please contact Megan Branco immediately at 519-672-2251 x 2409 or e-mail Megan by clicking on the Contact Us link below.

You could be entitled to financial compensation.
